Get Trained to Recognize the Signs of Human Trafficking
There are many resources out there for those interested in learning from professionals how to identify and respond to human trafficking. Some of these trainings are even online!
The Transnational Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking Team (TSETT) investigates claims of slavery, sexual servitude and child sex tourism. The team focuses on prevention, capacity and resources, victim assistance, partnerships, training, education, regulation and legislation. The Australian Federal Police International Network also has members posted at key regional locations: Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines and a Transnational Crime Coordinator in Bangkok.
